From big events at Salford Civic Centre to street parties and celebrating Salfordians, there’s something for everyone.As part of the Salford 100 Centenary celebrations, Salford City Council will be hosting a range of civic events throughout 2026 as the city comes together for this momentous year in Salford’s history.
Our civic heritage plays a big part in defining what makes Salford, Salford, the city’s identity and history. The aim is to deliver a selection of high-quality, inclusive activities that celebrate Salford’s identity, spirit, history, and people.
The civic events programme will a part in helping to create a memorable and impactful centenary for the city.
