Wagon Train: Celebration of Green Spaces - Ordsall Park

Meet us in the circle of stones for an afternoon of activity and entertainment to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Ordsall Park, including:

• A parade around the park and music from Jane and Mike Band, Salford Strummers and the Ski Band,

• Creative workshops from Art with Heart and Salford Badge Club,

• A Salford singalong with local performer Martin Boswell,

• Performances from Ordsall A Capella singers,

• Get active workshop with Salford Red Devil,

• Celebrate National Year of Reading with Salford Libraries and their story and songs for children under six

Co-created with Friends of Ordsall Park, Ordsall Community Arts Centre, Jak’s World, and other local groups. Hosted by Jenny Gaskell.

• There will be a pop-up refreshment stand at this event serving coffee, snacks and ice cream. We recommend bringing your own picnic for more substantial food

• This event is drop-in, and you can come and go as you wish. All participatory activities are voluntary.
