Wagon Train: Celebration of Green Spaces - Albert Park
An afternoon celebrating all things Broughton and the 150th anniversary of Albert Park:
• Communal litter pick organised by Just Junkies collective, whose Trash Pandas project encourages recycling and repurposing litter,
• Interactive play space for children by Pif Paf, with den building, balance, swing and jump play, and a Mud Kitchen encouraging families of all ages to find a way to play,
• Singing and drumming with Doosti Friendship Group, who will also share food and other cultural activities,
• Badge-making workshop with Salford Badge Club using historical images,
• Music and spoken word programmed in collaboration with Just Junkies,
• Salford Victoria Theatre Trust Victorian walkabout (thanks to Barton Theatre Company for loan of the costumes)

• There will be a pop-up refreshment stand serving coffee, snacks and ice cream. We recommend bringing your own picnic for more substantial food
• This event is drop-in, and you can come and go as you wish. All participatory activities are voluntary.
