Royal Naval Association National Conference Weekend 2026 - Drumhead Service

Location: MediaCityUK, The Quays, Salford, Greater Manchester, M50 2NT

As part of the Royal Naval Association (RNA) National Conference Weekend 2026 and the Salford 100 Centenary commemorations, this Drumhead Service will bring together RNA members, veterans, dignitaries, and the public to mark the conclusion of the weekend’s programme.

The National Conference Weekend incorporates a range of ceremonial, social, and remembrance activities, including a Drumhead Service, Gala Dinner, and public-facing events from Friday 12 June to Sunday 14 June 2026. The programme is delivered in collaboration with the RNA Conference Organising Committee, Salford City Council, Royal Navy representatives, and security partners, welcoming members, guests, VIPs, and the wider public.

The service reflects Salford’s historic maritime and defence connections and will include ceremonial elements such as a Parade of Standards, and an act of remembrance.

Schedule

  • 09:55am – Parade of Standards and Veterans march on Media City Plaza

  • 10:00am – Public Drumhead Service begins

  • 11:00am – Service concludes
